Some shoots feel more like a collaboration than just another project and working with Design & Dwell Homes was exactly that. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a fun one. Wendy & Deidre, the mother-daughter team behind Design & Dwell Homes, have an eye for transforming spaces into something incredible. Their work in 30A, Destin, and Panama City Beach is a mix of luxury, function, and the kind of design that makes you want to throw out everything in your own home and start over. Our job? To capture it all in a way that does the brand justice.

The goal of the shoot was to create a mix of lifestyle branding photography, headshots, and commercial video content that reflected both their work and their personalities. We started with lifestyle photography inside one of their recent projects. These shots weren’t just about the interiors, though. We wanted to show the process, capturing Wendy & Deidre making adjustments, styling, and doing what they do best. The key here was natural interaction, no stiff, over-posed shots. Just them, working in their element, bringing a space to life.

Headshots can feel overly formal if you’re not careful. That wasn’t the vibe we were going for. Instead of the usual “stand here and smile,” we focused on creating images that felt approachable and professional, something that represents their brand but also just feels like them.
